Kynar® PVDF
Resists many chemicals, sunlight and abrasion. Often considered for pumps, valves and chemical-handling equipment.
Manufacturer details ↗Halar® ECTFE
Combines chemical resistance with a strong barrier against chemicals passing through the coating. Useful for protecting equipment in corrosive environments.
Manufacturer details ↗Rilsan PA11
A durable coating with strong abrasion and chemical resistance. Worth considering when a part faces both wear and chemical exposure.
Manufacturer details ↗PFA
Offers strong chemical resistance and high-temperature capability. Useful for demanding industrial process equipment, with suitability based on the operating conditions.
Manufacturer details ↗FEP
Provides a smooth surface that makes cleaning easier, along with strong chemical resistance. Coating suitability depends on your process fluids and operating temperature.
Manufacturer details ↗ETFE
Forms a nonporous, chemically resistant film with strong durability and wear resistance. ETFE is used in semiconductor and chemical applications where low contamination and a robust barrier matter.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Start with the part’s base material, chemical exposure, operating temperature and wear. Share those details in the project inquiry so we can review suitable options.
Include the quantity, dimensions, base material, coating requirements and requested completion date. Drawings, masking notes and operating conditions help us understand the work.
A suitable, intact coating forms a barrier between the metal and corrosive chemicals. Compared with bare stainless steel and other metals, a chemically compatible coating can add protection against chemical attack and help reduce metal contamination of process fluids. Stainless steel can still suffer pitting in chloride-rich conditions. Performance depends on the chemicals, temperature, metal grade, surface preparation and coating integrity.
Temperature capability varies by material. Share normal and peak temperatures, exposure duration and heating or cooling cycles so we can review a suitable coating system.
Identify these areas on a drawing or in your inquiry. We’ll review masking needs and tolerances before confirming the project.
Send the specification and requested date with your inquiry. We’ll confirm feasibility, coating availability and scheduling after reviewing the project.
